The Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program at the University of Virginia  is specifically designed for academically outstanding students who made a late decision to pursue a career as a medical doctor. In just 11 months, students complete all pre-medical pre-requisite courses in order to be eligible to apply to medical school.

You will be taking all of your classes through the College of Arts & Sciences at the historic University of Virginia, taught by the University's best professors.

 

You will have access to the University of Virginia Health System where you can shadow a doctor in just about any specialty and be one of the first UVA students to select a volunteer opportunity in many of the hospital units. Many students choose to volunteer their efforts at the Charlottesville Free Clinic for a different clinical experience.

 

Lastly, you will receive expert advising from Susan, your program director, and Jillian, your academic advisor, in order to prepare your very best medical school application. 95% of UVA Post-Bacs go to medical school. Will you be next?
